Our conversion is not an event
It is a continual and relentless process
A yearning to be fused to the inner depths of the Heart of the Father
An ongoing detachment from creature comforts
Seek the virtues and charisms,
The gifts that charity demands!
Release all that you cling to that is rooted in self love and fear.
The gifts of God are placed in our hands and in our souls, to be rooted in charity with the flourishing and abundant fruits of His Grace!
This is reciprocal love which yields grace upon grace!
Titus 3:4-8 (RSV)
“But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of deeds done by us in righteousness, but in virtue of his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal in the Holy Spirit 1which he poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life. The saying is sure.
I desire you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to apply themselves to good deeds; these are excellent and profitable to men.”
