When you have Fatherlessness
You have Lawlessness
This is the age that separates the silver from the dross
It can only come by 

 Fire!
Purity refined by sanctification
It is the same fire that separates
Enlightens one, scorches another
The wounded and wicked suffer the same affliction but with different effects
Purified or petrified
Tormented or transformed
Seek grace, be sanctified in grace
Remain in the state of grace
It is the sacraments and grace that spare the soul.

Psalm 12:6 (RSV)

“The promises of the Lord are promises that are pure,
    silver refined in a furnace on the ground,
    purified seven times.”
