When our view is jaded,
We cannot see clearly the truth
of our sinful nature!
We cannot recognize the subtle snares of the devil!
We justify our acts with a distorted view of purity!
Our hearts are veiled!
The true and tender heart of the Father is hidden behind the worldly things we cling to.
The things we idolize!
The confabulations and lies we live under and justify ourselves by.
And the floodgates and the wellspring of grace is hindered.
The abundant life of true mercy and miracles is robbed from us!
We are deaf to the voice of the Father, not fully open to the heart of the Son, or the inspirations of the Holy Spirit!
Titus 2 :11-15 (DR)
“For the grace of God our Saviour hath appeared to all men. Instructing us, that, denying ungodliness and worldly desires, we should live soberly, and justly, and godly in this world. Looking for the blessed hope and coming of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and might cleanse to himself a people acceptable, a pursuer of good works. These things speak, and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”
