Not in the ultimate achievement
It is in the righteous choice to walk the righteous path
And the heart to follow through
It is in the next step
With Christ with you and in you
It is refusal to wander from the effort
Regardless how small it may seem
Righteous constancy right ordered in faith and in charity
It is hope transformed to complete trust
It is surrender to Gods Will and the trust and the clarity to listen
Now walk!
Now walk the next step perfectly
With eyes fully focused on the Face of Christ before you and with you
With ears open to His subtle inspirations of the Holy Spirit
The road to glory is narrow and steep but the view from the top is out of this world!
