Satan tries first to corrupt the tongue
Then to silence it
He seeks out the weakness in the tongue
That both blesses and curses
Beware the backbiting spirit
With subtle seductive untruth’s
derogatory language that hints of seeking truth and justice
but is judgmental and defamatory in their true nature
Tame the tongue!
The tongue utters the interior wounds and woes of the heart
“1st I must heal their hearts, before I heal their brokenness”

Give what humility and reverence must perceive
for Christ the King to reign in our hearts
And share the good news with a tongue of goodness and grace
That he might Reign in all hearts throughout the world
It is a Reign of Peace and Harmony
Tame the Tongue, that you might
speak with the Tongue of Truth and Love!
