The eye is the lamp of the body
What do you seek with your eyes
What do you covet or envy by your eyes
What do you cherish and embrace
Disordered affections seek solace in those things that appeal to your eyes
When we focus on the Holy Face of Jesus
Our eyes are filled with the Lumin glories
The light of Christ is fully revealed in His Holy Face
Would not the beatific vision be reflected through the Holy Face of the Son?
“I will draw all unto myself”
Souls that see with the spiritual eyes of Faith get a sneak peak at the beatific vision of the Son
“We become what we behold” Says blessed Fulton Sheen
Keep your eyes fully focused on the light of Christ revealed in His Holy Face
Detach from the worldly and the sinful
Let God’s Glory and Grace permeate your consciousness
Let the light of truth shine in you with you by and for you

Luke 11:33-36 (RSV)
“No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar or under a bushel, but on a stand, that those who enter may see the light. Your eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is sound, your whole body is full of light; but when it is not sound, your body is full of darkness. Therefore be careful lest the light in you be darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright, as when a lamp with its rays gives you light.”
