God will do what God will do
When God decides to do it
Capture the moment
And give it to God
You cannot recapture the past
You cannot preserve it
You cannot recreate it
Your next breath belongs to God
You cannot cast a net around your future beyond your next step
You know the path in which to walk
Do not get ahead of the grace of this moment or it will be lost to worthless worry or unhealthy desire
Walk the walk homeward with the light of Christ,
with all truth and love and the Spirit that seeks a peaceful heart
All that we have and all that we are, should be fully united, fully invested, in this moment for the glory of God
Our livelihood and all service and all joy, therefore, is fully present with God, in Him, and for Him.
Stick Around, and be fully present in the here and now, so you won’t get ahead of yourself
